They’d turn shops into off-licences

I’ve found out an interesting fact about the Harry Potter films. Did you know that Daniel Radcliffe broke more than 80 wands while filming the movies because he used them as drumsticks?

If we switch things around logically, there must be an awful lot of rock drummers out there who are trying to use their drumsticks as magic wands.

Can you imagine what sort of world we might be living in if rock drummers had drumsticks that they could cast spells with?

Basically, they’d have turned every shop in the world into an off-licence, wouldn’t they?

Auction house Bonhams has held its biggest-ever Aston Martin sale, which has raised around £20m by selling off various different models of the car.

You can’t help feeling that whoever paid a fortune for an Aston Martin with ‘one previous owner’ is going to really think he’s been sold a pup if he finds out the previous owner was James Bond!

I was pleased to see Stuart Bingham celebrating his first victory in the World Snooker Championships in Sheffield, but I was wondering how hard it must have been for him to go out and celebrate right after the tournament.

If you think about it, how many pub doormen or nightclub bouncers would let you into their establishment carrying a snooker cue?

It just makes you look as if you’re tooled up for a fight, doesn’t it?

And it’s not like they could leave it in the cloakroom because all the top players don’t like letting their cues out of their sight.

And who’s going to let you into a nightclub in a waistcoat? Only if it’s a ’70s night!

It has been announced that Fifty Shades of Grey’s two sequels will be arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day in 2017 and 2018, which is kind of appropriate.

So I was wondering, will all the new Star Wars sequels be on May the 4th? Will any Groundhog Day sequels happen every day?
