Have your say

I was somewhat disturbed to hear that a toy manufacturer has invented a breastfeeding doll that’s being aimed at girls as young as two.

Understandably, there’s been a backlash from mothers who reckon that it’s all too creepy.

Apparently youngsters put on a bib which has ‘flower nipples’ and when the child puts the ‘baby’ to its chest it makes suckling noises, then screams if it’s not winded.

I agree that it’s a good idea to teach young girls about the reality of having a baby. But at the age of two?

I say let them enjoy their childhood first – and save yourself £60 in the process.

If you want to teach your child about the wonders of having a baby, just wake them up every hour for a night.

That’s reality.
