Radio presenter Warren Hayden used to deliver The News – now he’s getting ready to appear in it every week.
The 27-year-old Heart host will be taking over from Paul Bunker next Tuesday.
And it’s a job the Portsmouth born father-of-two can’t wait to get cracking on.
‘I used to deliver The News around Copnor when I was about 13 so it’s quite weird that I’m going to be in it now,’ says Warren.
‘I’m really excited.’
He lives with partner Serena and their girls Caitlin, two, and Alyssa, eight months, in Southsea.
Dog Ralph might be the only other male company in their house but Warren just loves being a dad.
‘I am outnumbered,’ he laughs. ‘It’s going to be a nightmare when they’re teenagers.
‘People told me horror stories before I became a dad. I think I imagined my hair falling out because I’d be so tired but I’ve taken to it really well.
‘I spend a lot of time with the kids and I like to be really hands-on.
‘I’d never changed a nappy in my life before we had kids but I think I could break a record for the time I can do it in now.’
Warren presents the breakfast show on Heart every Sunday morning from 8am until midday.
