Have your say

I haven’t watched EastEnders regularly for, oh, 10 years now.

Yet every Christmas Day I feel the need to see it and I don’t really get why because I haven’t got the faintest clue what’s going on.

All I knew was that somehow Ian Beale was still in it.

But within the first 20 minutes I was hooked. I was shocked at myself at how easy it was for me to get into a soap which I refuse to watch 363 other days of the year (obviously Boxing Day is also a must).

This year’s storyline was really sad, but I thought the end scene where Danny Dyer tore up the Queen Vic could have had more drama in it.

Still, you have to love a bit of EastEnders to make you feel better about your own life!
