How cool is Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol? Having watched it at home, I now wish I’d made the effort to see it at the cinema.
The style’s changed and now, thankfully, it’s okay to let the audience in on the plot.
With the added humour of Simon Pegg, the humanising of the characters and oodles of action (plus the threat of an imminent old-fashioned nuclear war), it’s by far the best MI.
Another contender for Best DVD during our bank holiday bad weather film marathon was Real Steel, the story of a robot who is taught to box.
The premise is all boy, but the film has more than enough heart to keep all girls entertained as well.
Highly recommended for the next downpour.
