We saw him, we saw him!’

The kids’ faces were filled with joy and they were so excited to see Father Christmas shooting across the sky on his sleigh early on Christmas Eve.

My kids loved it and I have to admit that I did too. Seeing Santa (AKA the International Space Station) on his way to the other side of the world to start delivering his presents was a little piece of magic.

There’s a realisation during these events of how life changes once you’ve had children.

Pre-children, I would have been in the pub. This year on Christmas Eve I was waving at the sky, shouting ‘hello Santa’ in my back garden with no alcohol consumed. We just need NASA to come up with something for the tooth fairy now!
