We’re bowled over by the support for Blue Day

The drivers' dispute might be over, but at what cost?

Have your say

IT’S great to see so many people supporting Blue Day. Since we launched our annual fundraiser two weeks ago we’ve had pledges of participation from all over the area.

Schools, businesses, organisations and individuals have all stepped forward to promise to take part in the fun on April 20.

As in previous years, they’ll be helping us raise money for the Tom Prince Cancer Fund, named after the young Pompey fan who died a day short of his 16th birthday.

I’ve been bowled over again by the level of support out there for this wonderful local charity. As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Tom’s parents Clinton and Adele and his sister Emma are hugely appreciative of all the people who take part in Blue Day. Tom, Adele and Emma work throughout the year to raise funds for research into the bone cancer osteosarcoma. If you haven’t already signed up for Blue Day – you can organise a sponsored event or simply pay for the privilege of wearing Pompey’s famous colours for a day – then please do so at tomprince.co.uk
