How things have changed since 1976 when Brittany’s Armorique, Sealink’s Earl William and Townsend Thoresen’s Viking Victory first sailed from Portsmouth’s new continental ferry port.

All these operators had abandoned the traditional Southampton terminal for this better-connected one.

Today, Portsmouth is Britain’s second biggest ferry port, behind Dover. Now boasting two routes to Spain as well as traditional French and Channel Island services, our port is going from strength to strength.

We boast luxurious Brittany Ferries ships and the new LD Lines Norman Leader ship arrives this spring. We’re so lucky to have this port on our doorstep.
