Gosport’s Got Talent was on at the weekend. Last year my then six-year-old daughter dressed up in her best party frock, with neat bunches, and performed Alice Cooper’s Poison.
This year she was at a party so couldn’t make it, but the rest of us trooped down to cheer on the participants.
It must be very hard for the judges, who have such a wide range of ages and abilities to choose from.
My vote goes for all those out there who performed without the original singer on the background CD (surprisingly few), those who played an instrument as well (even less), and anybody who showed some sort of talent.
It’s all a bit of fun, and well done to those who had the guts to stand up and were prepared give it a go. You have my admiration.
