Opticians on the look out in charity’s campaign

A FAREHAM opticians is on the hunt for the sexiest spectacle wearer as part of a national anti-bullying campaign.

Specsavers has teamed up with anti-bullying charity Kidscape in its Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition.

The national competition, which was launched by the face of Specsavers’ Love Glasses campaign Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh, will see the overall winner scoop £10,000 and a holiday in the Bahamas.

Simon Wain, store director at Specsavers in Fareham, said: ‘We know that people in Fareham love their glasses and we want to celebrate it.

‘The Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition gives us the opportunity to prove that glasses are fabulous at any age by celebrating the specs wearers right on our doorstep who wear them with pride and plenty of style.’

For every entry, £1 will be donated to children’s charity Kidscape.
