An overturned lorry on the M27 caused two lanes to close and created traffic tailbacks yesterday.

Hampshire Police were called to the incident between Junctions 9 and 8 of the westbound carriageway at around 5.20pm.

They closed the middle and outer lanes, while they waited for assistance to remove the lorry, thought to have overturned due to an air brake lock. No-one was injured.
