TWO fundraisers are hoping to get out of jail free to raise vital cash for cancer research.

Simon Gilgallon and Paul Clark are to ‘break out’ of Winchester Prison and hitchike to the Sir Joseph Paxton pub in Locks Heath.

They will send messages and pictures to a friend who will be trying to track them down. All cash raised will go to Cancer Research Uk after Mr Gilgallon’s dad and Mr Clark’s mum sadly died of cancer.

Mr Gilgallon said: ‘My dad died of cancer three years ago.

‘I just thought I would give something back.

‘The Joseph Paxton was [my dad’s] local.’

The pair plan to complete their challenge on July 15.
