THE Parish of St Mary in Portsea has announced its forthcoming October events.

The parish will be holding a mass and charity lunch on from noon on October 3 at St Mary’s Church in Fratton Road, Portsmouth.

On October 6, St Faith’s Church in Crasswell Street, Landport, will hold a coffee morning from 10.30am.

It will be a chance for people to enjoy coffee, chat, cakes and raise funds.

A celebration of the life of the Church of St Faith’s and its community will take place at a patronal mass on October 7 from 6.30pm. The service will be followed by refreshments.

St Mary’s Church, Fratton Road, will host the Royal Marine School of Music for a concert on October 11 from 7.30pm.

A patronal festival mass will be held at St Wilfrid’s Church in George Street, Portsmouth, on October 12 from 7.30pm. The preacher will be the Bishop of Portsmouth, Christopher Foster.

The church hosts a coffee morning on October 13 from 10.30am and a charity lunch on October 18,

St Mary’s Church in Fratton Road will hold the music foundation concert with the Nadina Quartet and Friends on October 21.

An autumn fair, featuring traditional stalls and refreshments, will be held at St Mary’s Church, Fratton Road, on October 27 from 10am.
