FUNDRAISERS are being urged to raise money for a worthy cause at a church’s coffee morning.

Cosham Baptist Church, in Havant Road, Cosham, is inviting people to come along and have a drink on Saturday, September 15.

Jewellery and trousers made by former prostitutes who have been taken off the streets by Christian charity House of Grace will be on sale.

Scarves, bags and cakes will also be on offer.

Money raised will go to towards the efforts of the charity. The event will be held between 9am and 1pm.

Tracey Ansell, minister in training at the church, said: ‘This is a great opportunity for people to snap up cheap, early Christmas presents. And at the same time it’s ethical shopping.’
