THE milk of human kindness is ensuring this piglet grows up to be strong and healthy.
He is one of a litter of seven to be born to Wilma, a Kunekune sow at Staunton Country Park in Havant.
Providing enough milk for seven hungry piglets can be hard work and Wilma was running out of supplies, so two of the piglets had to be given powdered milk from a bottle.
One particular piglet was still struggling and the decision was made to take the piglet away from mum and fully bottle-feed him.
He is now being cared for by Jane McKay, the farmer’s wife in the farmhouse at Staunton.
She said: ‘He is loving the attention and has me up through the night to feed him.
‘I am hoping we can put him back with his family as soon as he is fit and well.’
