IT JUST goes to show that down on the farm all the animals are friends.
Little Hugo the alpaca has already made firm buddies with Georgie the llama.
Georgie was captured giving her week-old pal a gentle kiss at Staunton Country Park, in Leigh Park, this week.
The animals wouldn’t normally be in the same field together but the farm rangers brought Georgie in to graze and the animals got on like a house on fire.
Visitors have flocked to see the latest addition to the farm who was born on May 10.
Hugo is the first cria, a baby alpaca, born to Rosa, his fluffy brown mother.
Sam Holly, from Staunton Country Park, said: ‘Hugo is doing really well and is adored and protected by Georgie who was born last year.
‘She loves to encourage him to play, run and wear him out.’
Visitors were asked to suggest names for him and the farm team had fun deciding.
Sam added: ‘After a few days watching his personality shine through, we decided he looks like a Hugo – whatever a Hugo looks like!’
