A COLLECTION of thought-provoking photographs has gone on display.
The annual exhibition of Havant Camera Club is open to the public at the Meridian Centre, in Havant.
From animal photographs to images of the world war remembrances, there is something for everyone.
The Mayor of Havant, Marjorie Smallcorn, was there for the official opening.
Vivien Barber, from the camera club, said: ‘The opening ceremony was a great success, with many of the club members and partners, as well as representatives from surrounding clubs also attending.
‘The mayor seemed to enjoy it too, thoroughly viewing all of the exhibition, and talking to many of those present.
‘This is different to any of our past exhibitions – it is for the members only, allowing them to showcase what they do.
‘You will be surprised at many of our themes.
‘At least 28 of our members have entered prints, and/or panels, representing various interests – steam engines, a day out in Paris, different coloured lichens.
‘As well as these, there are “proper” camera club entries including portraiture, wildlife and landscape.’
The exhibition ends on Sunday and is free to view.
