THE Wells family have got a busy year ahead of them – but it’s set to be packed with fun.

The family, from Havant, have won a county-wide competition that will see them reviewing lots of visitor attractions.

They’ll be off on days out to give their views on venues such as country parks, gardens, art centres, and museums.

Keith Wells, 46, wife Francesca, 39, and their children, Lewis, 10, Oliver, eight, and Harriet, five, have been given a Culture-all Passport from Hampshire County Council.

The voucher, worth £75, gives them free entry and parking at all of the sites owned by Hampshire County Council, including Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Staunton Country Park and Fareham Museum.

In return for winning the passport, the family will post their reviews of the attractions on Hampshire County Council’s website.

Mrs Wells said: ‘We’re all thrilled about being chosen as the Culture-all Family this year.

‘As a family we love visiting new places and trying new things.

‘We always manage to find something for everyone wherever we go, and I’m looking forward to sharing our experiences on the Culture-all website.’

Councillor Keith Chapman, in charge of culture and recreation in Hampshire, said: ‘This is a great way for people to get a true account of what a real family thinks of our visitor attractions.

‘The Wells family submitted a fantastic application that made them stand out as winners and I can’t wait to read their reviews.

‘I hope they embark on an exciting adventure over the next 12 months and visit some new and fascinating places.’

The family will submit their reviews to hants.gov.uk/culture-all.

The website will be updated with a new report each month.

People can access more regular posts and chat about what they are doing on the Culture-all Twitter stream at twitter.com/culture-all.

Photos of the family’s adventures will be available to view on a Facebook page at facebook.com/culture-all.

Anyone who is interested in buying a Culture-all Passport for £75 can visithants.gov.uk/culture-all.

The passports are also available to those who visit one of the participating attractions.
