CHILDREN can take part in free activities in Fareham during the summer holidays.

Funday Fridays will run in the town centre every Friday in August.

Youngsters can enjoy a free session on a bouncy castle, which will be next to the popular Diamond Jubilee play area.

The sessions will be limited to five minutes per child between 10am and 4pm.

Town centre manager Patricia Gray said: ‘Fareham Town Centre Management decided to organise a free outdoor activity for children that we hope they will enjoy and which parents will welcome.

‘This is being entirely funded by the shops and businesses in the town centre.’
