BUDDING artists will have plenty to inspire them at an art workshop at a Roman museum.

The workshop at Fishbourne Roman Palace, near Chichester, will be led by artist Tony Muzzall and will give young people a chance to develop their creative skills.

Inspired by the beautiful gardens and intricate stonework, the workshop will focus on developing painting and drawing techniques.

Each student will have the opportunity to sketch the palace, indoors and out.

They will then have the opportunity to create an acrylic-on-canvas piece.

The workshop, held on Saturday, August 31, is one of a series that helps young people aged 11 to 25 work towards national accreditation through the Arts Award.

Participants can attend for one session or sign up to complete the full award.
