A CAMPAIGN has been launched to help people get ready for the winter.

West Sussex County Council has opened up a new web page giving advice featuring everything from how to protect your home to winter travel tips. Throughout November information boards will be on display in county libraries to help people think ahead.

Councillor Pete Bradbury, who is in charge of public protection, said: ‘After the severe winters we have all experienced in the last couple of years it makes sense to prepare and plan ahead. By taking a few simple steps or precautions now people can make life a lot easier.’
