A GIANT map of Portsmouth is set to be filled in as artists complete the final stage of their project.

Over the next two to three months artists from the Art and Soul Traders group, based in Victoria Park, Portsmouth, will add the final details and landmarks to the painting in The Strand, Southsea.

Artist Mark Lewis said: ‘We had to wait for funding, but now we just need the last stage, and we’ll be starting as soon as possible.

‘It’s one of the most famous murals on the south coast and it’s great because you get so many people at this five-road roundabout, looking lost, so to have this huge map of the whole city, along with a sculpture showing a key to the map, is something people not only enjoy, but actually use.’
