VISITORS to a bank had a shock when they were greeted by super heroes.

Superman, Batman, Super Ted and even a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle were behind the counter at NatWest in Havant.

The transformation was in support of Children’s Hospice Week, with the superheroes’ aim to raise money for Naomi House and Jack’s Place, near Winchester.

Senior manager Joe Hunter said: ‘It’s very important to us that we are part of, and contribute fully to, the community in which we all live and work.

‘Being able to do something like this for Naomi House and Jack’s Place, which offer such a valuable service, is fantastic.

‘We would all like to say a big thank you to our customers, colleagues, friends and family who donated so generously.’

Lauren Shields, from Naomi House, said: ‘We are so pleased to have been supported by 66 NatWest branches from across the south.

‘It costs £5m to run Naomi House and Jack’s Place each year and support over 250 families, so thank you so much to all those who donated.’
