KIND-HEARTED volunteers raised hundreds of pounds for a hospice through a car boot sale.

Bargain hunters helped push the total made at the car boot sale next to Clarence Pier, in Southsea, to £455.

Lesley Woodcock, from The Rowans Hospice, Purbrook, said: ‘The Portsmouth South Support Group did a fantastic job to help make the event run smoothly and we are delighted it went so well.’
