FIVE-YEAR-OLD Chloe Potter hugs her cuddly Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore as part of an exhibition celebrating the teddy bear.
Chloe, from Stamshaw, was at the Teddy Bear Story at Portsmouth’s City Museum, which celebrates the most universally-loved toy in the world. The first teddy bear was designed in 1902.
The exhibition explores the history of the toy.
Children were invited to bring their own toys to the museum to take part in a bear hunt.
Rosalinda Hardiman, collections manager, said: ‘It was a half-term activity for the children. It was very popular. There were a lot of people with families here.’
The exhibition is due to run until September. Visit portsmouthmuseums.co.uk or call (023) 9283 4779 for moreinformation.
