Tiffany Gaskell, 27, events operations at the festival, said: ‘Everyone has had a really good time.

‘We’ve a wide range of beers, we’ve got some really good local breweries.’

Revellers had 75 ales to choose from, with around 200 barrels keeping stocks high.

Emma Rushton, of South Parade, Southsea, was there with her boyfriend Gordon Ruddock, 43, and their friend Alex Kendrick, 42.

She said: ‘We came last year for the beer.

‘The atmosphere here is good, there’s a lot of people.’
