A SIGNED Pompey football is one of the prizes on offer in Wave 105’s Cash for Kids auction.

The charity auction takes place on air and online on Thursday.

A full day of airtime will be dedicated to it.

Cash for Kids was established in 2008 and supports local children under 18 across the region who are financially, socially, emotionally or physically disadvantaged.

The initiative raised £28,369 last year.

Other prizes people can auction on include return travel to France or the Channel Islands with Condor Ferries, VIP tickets to the 2013 Wales Rally GB, a tandem skydive, a champaign hot air balloon flight and Pimp my Cake masterclasses with Mam Rhu in Gosport.

Gloria Hill, charity manager, said: ‘We have been overwhelmed with many generous prizes from local businesses and local people.’
