THE fascinating life of boatbuilding is explored in a new exhibition.

James Duncan Foster built boats, supplied timber, sand and gravel, and farmed oysters in Emsworth in the 1800s. He was also involved in building the tramway from Cosham to Waterlooville.

The exhibition is at Emsworth Museum, in North Street, until July 27. Go to
