A MUSIC video for a song about living with cystic fibrosis has reached the semi-final stage of the UK Songwriting Contest.

Breathe With Me was premiered at ButserFest, the alcohol-free festival for young people in Queen Elizabeth Country Park held in September. It has played on the big screen in Guildhall Square and featured in the Great South Run TV coverage.

Runners also took part in the ‘strawfie’ campaign – uploading a photo of themselves breathing through a straw to replicate how difficult it is for people with cystic fibrosis to breathe.

The video was filmed at Alice Holt Forest, East Hampshire.

It has been shortlisted in the UK Songwriting Contest – the winner of which will be announced in December.
