THREE brothers who will cycle 50 miles for causes close to their hearts have pushed back the date of the event.

Luke Hurren, 22, and his brothers Connor, 18 and 15-year-old Liam, will ride from Brighton Pier to their beloved Fratton Park to raise cash for the Pompey Supporters Trust and Kids Kidney Research.

Mr Hurren’s son Olly suffers from kidney disease and the pair want to raise money for research into the condition.

But they are a long way off their target of £1,000 for the PST.

Mr Hurren, from Fareham, said: ‘Time is running out for the Trust so we would like to get as much money as possible together before we go.

‘At the moment we have just reached £350 so we really need the public’s support in getting that figure even higher.’

The brothers are all lifelong Pompey fans and started going to matches as young boys.

They care passionately about the club and its future.
