Dr Who Christmas special... All we know so far

Have your say

TWO days of fun sporting activities kick off this weekend.

The Staunton Festival is back at the historic country park in Havant with a range of exhibitors, free sporting events and circus workshops on both days.

There will also be pond dipping, face painting and water walkers.

Entry to the event is free, with parking at £2 for the day and half-price entry to the farm and gardens.

Sport and play is the main focus, with Sport Hampshire & IOW Sport Roadshow offering free sports workshops on Saturday as part of their campaign to increase levels of participation in physical activity.

Children and adults can take part in orienteering and bushcraft.

Performing on the Staunton Live stage by the lake is 1960s tribute band The Tar Babies. Live music will be performed on the terrace stage all weekend.

It is sponsored by Havant Borough Council, Portsmouth City Council and Portsmouth Water Company.
