A RUNDOWN pavilion will be given a new lease of life after a cash injection.

East Hampshire District Council agreed to release £78,000 towards the proposed extension of the pavilion at Rowlands Castle Recreation Ground.

Plans include two toilets, communal space, and a new viewing area.

Lisa Walker, parish council clerk, said: ‘The proposed works will fulfil a long-held need for modern facilities.’
