CONCERNS over poor weather have led to changes being made to a lantern procession in Portsmouth.

A parade scheduled to happen during tonight’s Fratton Festival of Light will now only take place at St Mary’s Church, in Fratton Road.

Participants in the parade, due to take place at 6.30pm, were originally going to walk along part of Fratton Road before arriving at the church.

Entertainment and activities will take place inside, including performances by Top Banana Circus and the Urban Vocal Group choir.
