A PUB passport making its way across the country reached Portsmouth as part of a fundraising effort for a children’s charity.

The passport is on a journey across 623 Stonegate pubs across the country.

Britain’s Biggest Pub Tour is using the passport for every venue. Yesterday it departed the Slug and Lettuce in Gunwharf for the Isle of Wight on a RIB.

The Stonegate Pub Company launched the tour for Variety last week.

Chief executive Toby Smith said: ‘It’s our biggest charity event yet and we’re looking forward to raising thousands of pounds to make the lives of many families and children just that little bit easier.’
