THE Wessex Cancer Trust is hosting a volunteer recruitment coffee morning at the charity’s new shop in High Street, Cosham, tomorrow.

The charity needs volunteers to work in the shop, join a fundraising and events team and become supportive ‘befrienders’ in a planned cancer support centre.

A spokesman for the charity said: ‘There are lots of ways to get involved and help the charity and you can give a few hours a week or more time depending on when you are available.’

The trust provides practical help and emotional support to patients, their families and carers living with or affected by cancer.

The event will run from 10am to midday.
