NURSERIES in Fareham have celebrated the birth of the new royal baby Prince George in style.

Children at Good Manors day nurseries in Miller Drive and Church Path dressed up and were given more of an insight into the history of London. Staff also wore ‘cockney’ style clothes during a Good Manors Cockney Day which was held on separate days at both premises.

Kids played a welly boot throwing game, pin the crown on the Queen and used skipping ropes.

They also made their own crowns. Pre-school co-ordinator Viki Heeley said: ‘The children have enjoyed learning about London and our Royal family. We decorated both nurseries with landmarks of London and union flag bunting, as well as pictures of Kate and William.’
