Children from the 2nd South Hayling Rainbows have been actively fundraising for Children in Need

Over the last few months the Rainbows have raised cash through holding a Pudsey film afternoon, a ‘green’ meeting and having a sponsored father and daughter sports day.

To date the total raised is £235 which has surpassed the target set by Marijke Blandford (a.k.a. Tulip to the girls; the Rainbow unit’s Leader) when they started to plan all their activities back in April this year.

To celebrate the Rainbows’ hard work, a tea party was held at Hayling Girlguiding HQ. This was organised and co-ordinated with Queen Bees of Hayling Island, a vintage tea company who deliver all you need for hosting a high tea party.
