They took part in a sweetcorn challenge in the morning and will be selling cakes on break. They have also got students in non-uniform and teachers in animal onesies.

Fiona Caldereank, headteacher, said: ‘We have lots going in to raise as much a possible for Children in Need.

‘We have got a cake sale, handmade Pudsey Bear badges made by year 11 student Betsy Nancarrow and Pudsey Bear cookies made by the canteen staff.

‘We hope to raise over £1000.’
