THE diversity and excellence of Hampshire produce is being celebrated in a charity cook book.
Meats, Eats, Drinks and Leaves features 22 chefs and venues from across the county and the Isle of Wight in aid of the Pelican Cancer Foundation.
The Thomas Lord pub, in West Meon, is hosting a celebratory evening on August 27 when head chef, Fran Joyce, will serve a menu that will include dishes featured in the book.
All profits from the evening will also go to the charity.
For £50 guests will be treated to a four-course meal with options of dishes that feature in the book made with Hampshire produce.
Pub manager Clare Winterbottom said: ‘We are very much looking forward to celebrating the book’s launch, giving everyone a chance to sample the best Hampshire recipes, whilst raising as much money as possible for The Pelican Cancer Foundation.’
