COLOURFUL costumes were on display at the annual Rowner Carnival.
Saturday saw the return of the event, with music and songs filling the streets with noise.
Schoolchildren, Rainbows, Brownies and neighbours took to the streets of Gosport to enjoy a day in the sunshine with their families.
There were musical performances, dancing routines and the usual parade through the heart of the estate.
Sarah Tandy, 37, of St Nicholas Avenue, was one of those who took part in the parade.
She said: ‘I like things like this because it’s nice to hear a bit of music and see everyone having a good time.
‘It’s especially nice to see the young ones having a nice day out and it gives them something to do in the sun.’
