THE largest cruise ship ever built for the British market is due to sail past Portsmouth for the first time tomorrow.

The £500m Britannia will pass Portsea Island about 11am as she heads up the Solent to the dock at Southampton. The new P&O flagship has 1,837 cabins, four pools, 26 bars, cafes and restaurants and features a 94m Union Jack on her bow.

The Queen will officially name the new ship on Tuesday.
