YOUNGSTERS took the chance to experience a touch of farm life by getting up close with some of the animals this Easter break.
Hundreds of younger visitors to Garsons Garden Centre got into the spring spirit by petting the baby animals which had been visiting from a mobile farm.
Among the creatures were a pair of alpacas which watched over lambs, piglets, ducklings and kid goats at the centre in Fontley Road, Titchfield.
Sonia Donoghue, one of the members of staff at Garsons helped out, and particularly enjoyed playing with lambs Sarah and Sasha.
She said: ‘The baby lambs are so sweet and friendly, and the children liked petting them.
‘We love the mobile farm visits and it’s extra special this time of year when they’ve had their young.
‘It was a warm day and everyone including the animals seemed to enjoy being out in the sunshine.’
The garden centre, which also boasts a farm shop and restaurant, holds regular events for children throughout the year.
