The team tweeted a picture of themselves in the bar of their hotel in Bury saying: ‘Thank you to everyone who donated and gave messages of support. Well deserved beer!’

Twenty riders had set off from Fratton Park on Wednesday. They have raised around £18,000 for community shares in the club and for the family of Jack Robinson.
