THESE talented youngsters are all smiles after they came out on top in a national dancing competition.

Bryony Way, eight, of Locarno Road, Copnor, Portsmouth, won the tap solo category in her age group and her friend Evelyn Tagg, seven, of Powerscourt Road, Copnor, won the same award in the baby section in the All England Dance Competition.

They each had to do a tap dance for a minute and a half in front of judges. Their prizes were a medal and a certificate.

Bryony’s proud mum Hayley, 36, said: ‘I’m extremely proud of her. She worked very hard to get it.

‘She’s been dancing since she was two and a half.’

They both go to Jean Marks School of Dance.
