Star Wars legend Dave Prowse says the latest blockbuster doesn’t have ‘pzazz’.

Dave, who played Darth Vader in three films in the late 1970s and early 1980s, said that he had enjoyed the latest film in the series, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

But he added: ‘I did enjoy it but I don’t think it had the pzazz the other Star Wars films had. It could’ve done with a bit more action, but I still enjoyed it.’

Dave was speaking at a guest appearance for the charity Dreams Come True at the recently-opened Cineworld multiplex, in Whiteley Shopping Centre.
