THREE dogs were saved by firefighters after a fire broke out in a kitchen.

A total of 14 firefighters attended a fire in the ground floor kitchen of a home in Cowslip Close in, Bridgemary, Gosport last night.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue was called at around 5.12pm.

Three dogs were rescued by firefighters, some using breathing apparatus.

The fire was put out around half an hour later.
