THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are the VIP guests at next week’s America’s Cup World Series, The News can reveal.

The Royals will spend the last final day of the action next Sunday supporting the sailing spectacle.

Prince William and Kate will tour international team areas at Portsmouth naval base before the racing and meet team skippers and their crews.

They will then visit the new Land Rover BAR headquarters at the Camber and learn more about the work being done there.

Their Royal Highnesses will then watch the teams from USA, France, New Zealand, Japan, Sweden and the British team compete, and later present medals at the Waterfront Festival Arena.

The Duchess of Cambridge, as Royal Patron of the 1851 Trust, supported by Land Rover BAR, will take the opportunity to learn more about how the charity is using this exciting time for the sport in the UK inspire a new generation into sailing.
