Children in Need: Pub raises money with 12-hour ping pong game

ALMOST 100 children took part in an Easter egg hunt around a town centre.

Families spent hours looking for eggs around Emsworth and at the end of it they were rewarded with some delicious chocolate treats.

It was organised by Jo Cone, of Peek-a-Boo Moves, which is a not-for-profit group that encourages families to do more activities together.

The money raised from the Easter egg hunt is going towards a theatre piece that Jo is putting together which will tour children’s centres and Sure Start centres across the county.

The show is aimed at children aged four and under and their parents. It will give ideas on how to be creative as a family in the home.

She said: ‘It went really well. We were supported by local businesses and the Greenhouse Cafe where the hunt started and finished. It was a great day.’
