MORE than 1,000 Easter eggs have been donated to seriously ill children.

From One Stop shoppers to Eaton engineering staff and members of the First Lovedean Rainbows, Hannah’s Holiday Home was overwhelmed by the amount of delicious chocolate treats.

Pam Marshall, who set up the charity in memory of her daughter Hannah Westbrook, was joined by Peppa Pig and the Easter Bunny to deliver the eggs to the Piam Brown Ward at Southampton General Hospital and Starfish and Shipwreck wards at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham.

Pam, from Horndean, said: ‘People were so generous we were able to help out other groups too, including the Wecock Food Bank. We even had craft packs for children.’
