MEMBERS of the fire, police and ambulance service will join the RNLI at this year’s Emergency Services Day.

Park Parade, in Leigh Park, will play host to the 999 teams on Saturday and the precinct will stage a variety of performances.

Just Street Dance and Leigh Park Community Singers will perform throughout the day and children will get the chance to meet Elsa from Frozen, Spider-Man and Mickey and Minnie Mouse mascots.

The vintage police vehicles will make a return and this year will also see a new canine unit exhibit.

There will also be exhibits from the RNLI, a CCTV unit and Leigh Park police, as well as games with Big World Impact, a playbus, fairground rides and a bouncy castle.

And they can enjoy candy floss, ice cream and face painting stalls. The free event, which is organised by Cops and Coffee and supported by Leigh Park Traders, will be opened by the mayor of Havant at 10am and will run through until 2pm.
